She was born in 1979 in Vanderbijlpark were she went to school and grew up. From a very young age her talent was seen and she won numerous competitions in school level. To broaden her talent she was taught by a few artists - Lisa Pienaar, Spies Venter and not to long ago Munro.

After school she studied at Open Window Art Academy in Pretoria where she obtained the Diploma” Visual Communication Graphic Design”. Due to her diverse talent she is able to paint with, oil, acrylic and pastel.  She enjoys the challenge that every painting puts to her and she would easily redo a painting a few times before she is satisfied with it. Her work is loved because of her good use of colour and the diversity of mediums she uses. She is well known for her decorative florals, landscapes and abstract work.
