Isabel has been painting full-time since and held the first of many solo exhibitions in 1974.  Her work forms part of many corporate collections.

Her subjects vary from still lifes, flower studies to street and nature scenes.  She uses oil, water, acrylic and mixed mediums.  She opened Isabelle d’Arte at the Hartebeespoortdam in 1993 as a permanent display window for her work.
