Linda Robertson was born in 1968 and spent most of her young adult life growing up in Rustenburg , South Africa, where she matriculated and obtained a distinction in art. She was also awarded best art student in matric and won Gauteng art competition in 1986.Linda spent a number of years in Pretoria while completing her studies and early years of employments in the commercial sector.Linda’s work was mostly commission work and clients included various influential people country wide. Her only form of marketing was by word of mouth and satisfied clients. Then in 1996, she made the step to painting for art dealers. Most of the art was produced and sold under a pseudonym and she became well known worldwide. During this time, Linda was ranked under the top 50 artists in South Africa and produced thousands of paintings.
Linda produces in the impressionistic style she loves. Her love of South Africa can be seen in her current work depicting typical South African scenes and the people of South Africa.
Typical scenes included musicians, beautiful woman and coastal lifestyle. Her natural talent and feel for art allows her to produce stunning portraits of people reflecting their personalities while painting in this impressionistic style.
Linda does most of her art work in Oil. Although Linda’s work are mostly popular in South Africa, she also has clients in London and Australia. Her work can also be seen in the office of the Premier of the North.
